Heritage Omega-3 essential fatty
acids set a new standard in high purity, high stability, and high potency
marine lipids! The National Cancer Institute's Designer Foods Program
targets omega-3 fatty acids as food components of choice.Hundreds of
supplementation studies have revealed that fish-rich diets and fish oil
supplementation produce powerful anti-platelet (blood thinning),
anti-inflammatory, immune system strengthening and tumor modifying effects.
Some of these studies show Omega-3 acids are exceptionally adept in
strengthening the cardiovascular system. High fish consumption among the
Eskimos has increased their resistance to cardiovascular disorders.
Scientists found that "the more fish the [Eskimo] ate, the fewer deaths due
to heart disease, and the lower the total death rate." Heritage Omega-3
contains the same oils which the Eskimos consume. Our Omega-3 oil is
derived from cold water fish taken from unspoiled regions of the northern
seas.
Most commercial fish oil concentrates display only a modest total
percentage (30-40%) of the desired fatty acids, Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA)
and Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA). Heritage Omega-3 offers a minimum of 80%
Omega-3 fatty acids in the ethyl ester form. We have not used flaxseed oil
often found in other products because several human trials with flaxseed oil
have shown that it converts into EPA and/or DHA with less speed and
efficiency than fish oil products. Heritage Omega-3 requires no metabolic
conversion.
Essential fatty acids are necessary for the formation of each cell
membrane. Strong cell membranes protect cells from invading toxins,
bacteria, viruses and allergens.
They are also essential for the formation and balance of prostaglandins.
Prostaglandins are hormone-like regulator substances that are produced and
utilized by every cell in the body. Prostaglandins regulate the
cardiovascular system, reproductive system, immune system, and central
nervous system.
Omega-3 oils are also beginning to make headlines in regard to their
benefits in the mental/emotional realm. In a presentation for the American
Psychiatric Association, it was demonstrated that Omega-3 oils may be an
effective nutritional aid for those with bipolar disorder. In short, DHA in
the Omega-3 is of critical value to the communication process of each cell
in the brain.
Heritage Omega-3 may be useful for pregnant and lactating women, those
needing to improve cardiovascular health or in any kind of athletic
training, as well as those desiring to improve the health of their nervous
system.
Suggested Adult Use:

Testimonials:
"I am here to give you my personal testimony on the Omega-3 product. In
April, 1994 I was divorced and developed a skin condition called Psoriasis.
Over the period of 6 yrs the condition got extremely horrible. It started
off in little patches under my armpit area, elbows, knees, belly and it
covered my scalp with very thick scales. I had spend hundreds of dollars on
all sorts of cremes and ointments over the counter and also prescription
steriods and pills. None of which has worked for me. My head was so bad that
I started losing handfuls of hair on a daily bases to the point that I was
wearing baseball caps.
I had totally given up hope. I figured it was something I would have to
just live with. My husband told me that it was okay that he loved me for who
I am not what I look like. When I had talked with Brande on the phone and
told her my condition, she told me that I should try the Omega-3. One the
conference calls from many people who also had the same condition I did told
me to try the Omega-3. I can't tell the way I feel about my outer appearance
now. My skin is so much better. I can now wear anything I want, I can BARE
ALL :) I used to either wear my hair in a ponytail and ball cap on or just
let it hang down to cover my hairline around my face because all you could
see what white sores around my scalp. I am so thrilled that
I am comfortable about my appearance now. THANK YOU TREMENDOUSLY
HERITAGE FOR YOUR OMEGA-3 PRODUCT.
